Edward Sirois is a graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School and College Seminary, and earned an M.A. in theology from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. When he began his teaching career at La Salle in 1974, he suddenly became aware of the fact that many of his teachers in high school, college and even grad school were La Salle graduates and that he was more directly influenced by the Lasallian vision than he had ever imagined. Mr. Sirois has been teaching religion at La Salle every since, and is presently part-time, teaching two World Religions courses to seniors each semester. He has always been interested in things electronic such as ham radio (call sign is W1JES), multi-media and computers, and has created over 150 videos, most of which deal with Catholic saints, holy days and feast days, past and present Lasallians, sacred scripture, and elements of Christian teaching.
