Poverty in Canada has steadily improved recently from 15.2% in 1996 to only 8.8% today. Those most effected by Poverty in Canada are there oldest inhabitants, the Abroginals, who are effected at rates much higher compared to the other groups.

Mexico suffers from poverty as 34 million Mexicans can only afford micro-apartments. These have turned small towns into slums as this issue continues to snowball.

The majority of cities and states effected by poverty are in the South and along the United States-Mexican border. Some of the worst cities see 1 in 3 people effected by poverty, but the United States also had many examples of little poverty. The overall U.S. had 1 in 6 people living in poverty.
